This is a interior space of EmmaLi's Sailboat. I took this picture a long time ago down in New Bern, NC. Originally, the photo had EmmaLi in it, but i edited her out to complete the interior space. I used water color pencils and a little bit of regular water colors. I enjoyed blending and layering the watercolors, my favorite part of the piece is the stairs. I learned that i need to add more detail into this, because it is very interesting. The colors, are nice, but it is boring overall. I was dissatisfied with my final and i would try and sketch it out more before i start it. This was my first watercolor picture of the year, and i can't wait to redeem myself on the next watercolor picture.
I would like to go back into this picture and add some pen sketching on top of the paint, and i would like to add more color on top also. Overall the picture turned out okay, but was very boring overall. I would like to do this one over again in the future.
