Here is a piece on kayaks to contribute to me focusing on outdoor sports, I used prismas for the first time in a long time so it took a while to get used to but i thought it turned out ok. This photo goes with my focus of exploration and i like it because it represents me and my love for outdoor sports. It was my 2nd time doing a prisma project so it defiantly showed improvement but it can still use a lot. If i did this project again i would add more trees and detail( such as rocks, bushes, and animals). I enjoyed the colors a lot though.
I did a collage piece to contribute to my focus i used 3 mediums( acrylic, ink, and magazines and it focused on exploration. Out of all my summer projects it was not very good but it showed what i want to represent in my focus. I would like to do more mixed media in the future because if you have good pictures, you can make a awesome portrait or landscape.
This is a watercolor painting i did of a boat i took a picture of down in Oriental, Nc. My eyes were excited when i first saw this boat so when we needed a painting of a object submerged in water i wanted to do this painting. I had problem on my first time trying to blend the watercolors but i learned to brush lighter so they blend equally and show more values. If i did this project again i would add a background and more darker values, but other than that, it turned out pretty well.
This is a drawing i did of within my dad's VW beetle and it was done in pencil showing the details of the dashboard in my dads car. I took the picture at night time with a flash on and it really captured all the details on the dash of the car. It was one of my first summer projects but it turned out better than expected.
Here is my face portrait on a tile that i had done a little while ago that i thought would fit for this prompt. I really enjoy the yellow background and i am satisfied with the final. When i did this with my church over the summer we made tiles that represented us. I really enjoy doing tile projects and i hope we can do more of this in ap art 4.
Here is my glass bottle chalk pastel drawing from my house. it has many colors that were blended and shaped to create this picture. I hadn't used chalk pastel in a very long time and it didn't turn out good. But i think if i did it again it would turn out a lot better. I took a picture of some bottles already placed together on a shelf in my house. If i could do this project again i would use a different color paper, maybe brown or beige.
