Here is a Vw Bus Painting that i painted over winter break, it shows my love of VWs and Arizona. I really enjoyed the landscape and the the bus's colors. I would like to do some more of these pieces but in different mediums in the future. Overall, I think this Vw picture is pretty cute and would be great for a card cover. I made up most of the picture and just went with the flow while painting.
This is a watercolor landscape piece, that i was messing around with in Independent studies that i decided to use for one of my projects. It is a mix of a Arizona mountain scene and a snowcap mountain. I enjoyed just the left side and i probaly should have cut the piece but i left it because i figured why not? This piece was a fun piece to practice with and it helped me do better on my AP Art 4 piece. I am glad that this piece helped contribute to my other because if i hadnt done this one, the other wouldnt look as good. Overall it was a fun piece to mess around and use for Independent studies.
In Independent studies, I was messing around with watercolors and trying to make some weird scenes that could be taken differently. I really enjoyed the yellows and pinks all together. It looks a lot like a box train on tracks across some hill but it could also be with thinking out of the box and not taking the guided track. Overall i think it is a weird piece that i threw in because i needed a another piece. I would like to do more of these abstract pieces in different mediums in the future because i really enjoyed doing this piece.
This is a collage of a bunch of National Geographic magazines and i chose to do this because i really enjoying these magazines, They also contain a lot of adventure information and picture that i really like. I wish i could have layered even more down but i was tight on times so i only put around 4 layers. I started with the putting mountain scenes together, then i would layer more on top until i decided to make my own National Geographic cover.
During Independent Studies, i have been working on a watercolor landscape painting of the Japanese garden with Duke gardens. I am not finished, but this is sorta a in-progress picture of it. All i have left is to go in with more pen and darken up the background and some of the flooring inside of the bamboo. This piece was all about setting up right, to make it look nice. I am pleased so far with all the beautiful colors and i cant wait to add more. Overall this piece has been a success and i cant wait to see the finished piece.
This is a progression drawing of a MR. GoodBar, slowly getting unwrapped. This project looked a lot better than the last one. I would not want to do this again, because it is very boring. It turned out pretty nice though. I used different drawing pencils to get a broader spectrum of values. Overall, a medium drawing and i felt ok about it.
